SHOW SYNOPSIS

Barb Burnbottom is having a mid life crisis.

With 4 kids, including two teenage female twins, a husband who is married to his work,

and an infant, its hard for her to try to keep everyone happy.

She resolves to plan a series of monthly road trips to build some old fashioned bonding

experiences but finds herself having to manage expectations, attitudes, and

unforeseen juxtapositions that test the boundaries beyond her patience.

This animated series is infused with upbeat and whimsical musical numbers that

that the viewer into the mind of the modern family wife.

This comedic musical is fun for all ages with both adult humor and family themes

that audiences can relate to. Join the road trip with Barb and her family.

EPISODE BREAKDOWN

EP1 - Pismo Beach

Barb and the fam are embarking on their first road trip. A spider in the car causes delays, which gives Barb the opportunity to record her first podcast episode. She sings a song that expresses her current mental and emotional state, When they arrive at the beach, she motivates the team to go for a beach bike ride only to find their car being tickets and towed.Later that night Barb and Bob try to find some time for some romantic intimacy.

EP 2- Big Bearing It

At work, Bob and Barc work at Bob's dental office. After a close call with a malpractice mishap , barb goes to get some coffe and shake it off with a song. She records her next podcast episode . When they arrive in Big bear, their room isn't ready so they go hit the slopes immediately. Briggite is scared but Barb sings her a song to motivate her. They have an unexpected run in with a movie star.

EP 3 - Hottie Springs

In a last minute effort to create some alone time with her husband, Barb books a room in a boutique hotel in palm springs. Meanwhile , Brooke is going through a break up and missing mom as a shoulder to cry on. She sings a song about it. When Barb and Bob realize that they booked their stay during a alternative lifestyle event, They some home to find Brooke and he BF making up in their living room,

Ep 4 - Shroom Cruise

In an attempt to calm Barb's nerves, Bob books a cruise to Mexico for just the two of them. They explore all the ship has to offer including a chicken marsala, laced with magic mushrooms, making their trip that much more groovy.

Ep 5- Turkey Dogs

As Brooke and Bella rebel against Thanksgiving as a violent and antiquated meat eating holiday, Barb and Bob bribe the girls with a new dog. Unfortunately the girls have other plans for the dog. After an almost ruined dinner. The girls try to make up for the damage they have done in their attempt sabotage Thanksgiving .

EP 6- A Christmas Miracle

Bob decides to give Barb a new renovated master bathroom for Xmas. Brooke and Bella try to keep Barb distracted, while Bob finds himself in over his head. In the End Barb sings about whats important during the holidays.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER DIRECTOR

Mike Burns is a film director, music supervisor, and Grammy nominated music Producer.

Mike's passion for music and film started at an early age where he produced short films in high school where he attended New World School of the Arts in Miami.

He moved to Los Angeles in 2000, where he began honing his skills producing and directing over 40 "behind the scenes" featurettes for Lionsgate Entertainment, interviewing several A list actors, Including Dennis Hopper, Forest Whitaker, Keanu Reeves, Nicholas Cage, John Cusack, Anna Da Armas, Charlie Sheen, and many more.

Mike's passion for music kept him busy in the studio between shoots producing EDM tracks for Top DJ's like Armin Van Burren, Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz,

and earned a Grammy nomination for his contributions as a songwriter and Music Producer.

In 2015, He produced the film Inconceivable starring Nicholas Cage and Faye Dunaway. He moved into music supervision for films in 2010 and has since Music Supervised 35 feature films to date.

In 2018, He launched Burnsi Creative, his own film and video production company where he produced and directed several campaigns for major brands like Adidas, Ford, Tropicana and Wanderlust. He transitioned into directing feature Films in 2018 and has released 2 feature films to date: "Out of Death" Starring Bruce Willis and Jaime King and "Wrong Place" staring Ashley Greene and Bruce Willis.

In 2023 Mike Founded Movipods, A Creative incubator leveraging generative AI to empower filmmakers to develop, package, and produce their works independently.

Movipods has produced over 30 projects to date, leveraging AI for production companies, independent producers and writers.
